In some of their advertising they refer to it also as the iPulpit. It looks really slick. They have several different models which you’ll see below, but they now have a competitor by the name of Churchium that is selling a similar product.
I was able to see these iPulpit/iPodiums from littlemountain.tv live at the Catalyst conference. I walked up to the booth and couldn’t help but be in awe of the thing. Quite beautiful. I want one. I don’t have an iPad yet, but I still want one.
Well, another company has come out called Churchium that is selling their own version, which they call an iPodium as well.
They have prices starting at $899 and go to about $1099 for a custom version that would include space for your Bible. It seems like a nice product. To view some larger pictures of what they look like click here.
Either of these would be really nice to have. You can have your sermon/presentation notes on it and just scroll to whatever page you want. It probably would look a lot more professional than having to sift through different notes or pages. Also, if you have a powerpoint or keynote presentation, you could deliver and control it from there. In theory, there’s tons of ways that you could possibly use it. Or at least I know I would figure out a ton of different uses for it 😉
