I don’t blame you if you don’t. Here’s a primer. I’m Rodlie Ortiz. I’m on the pastoral team of Pioneer Memorial Church, and at some point you subscribed to this, the Modern Ekklesia, blog. I write about church and leadership stuff.
In this post, I wrote about a covenant of sorts that I had made. I was in the midst of writing my dissertation and I determined that I needed to bring an ax to everything that was not my dissertation. I stopped writing. I cut out social media. I would not write another blog post until I had graduated.
Well, guess what happened last summer? This happened:
I didn’t have much time to celebrate last year. I posted pictures on social media and that was it. Moved on.
Long story short, it’s time to jump back in. There’s too much happening during this Covid19 pandemic to not be in the game and sharing resources.
Here’s a few things on my mind that I want to address in the next few weeks:
- Best Practices for Streaming Your Service Online
- The Most Essential Element in Creating Content for Online Services
- What Posture Should You Take in Your Online Services: Relaxed or High Production?
There’s a lot more going on as well. So, hope all is well and safe where you are.
By the way, thanks for your patience as I clear off the cobwebs on this blog as well. There’s quite a few tweaks and things I need to work on under the hood, but I don’t want all of that to stop me from creating content.
So, I’m back y’all!
