I like to take notes in meetings. I’ve always been that way. It helps me to stay focused, engaged, and to keep a personal record of what’s happened. About a year ago I switched over from my trusty Moleskine notebook and pen to using an iPad mini and this stylus from Bamboo.
The experience of using this stylus has not been horrible, but neither has it been great. The nib of the stylus is rather large so words tend to be larger than I would write in a notebook using a regular pen.
But…
Check this out. Adonit released a new stylus to be used in conjunction with Penultimate, one of the best note-taking apps in the market.

At $75 it’s definitely more expensive than any other stylus on the market, but if it’s as precise as it looks, I think it will be worth it.
Oh, the temptation.
What about you? Do you take notes in meetings on an iPad? Do you use a stylus? To leave a comment click here.
Looks good, but what I struggle with is the delay. There’s always a small delay between the stroke of the stylus and when the mark actually appears on the screen. It’s only a fraction of a second, but it still bothers me. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
Yeah, I’ve gotten used to that part. I don’t really notice it anymore. What I don’t like are the large nubs through which you can’t write very precisely. This new stylus looks like it might fit the bill. I wonder if this new one also helps to minimize the delay at all. So you think you’re gonna get one?
Hi!
I just want to let you know that I did a quick video review of the new Adonit Jot Scrip. I though you’d like to check it out; it’s here : https://youtu.be/RWbAqtNdK5w
I think it’s a very good stylus! Thanks in advance for watching and, why not, for sharing, if you think it’s worth it.
Thanks! I saw your review. It’s quite helpful. I was actually on the verge of buying one a few days ago, but then I saw a really bad review where it was skipping a lot, and decided to wait. After going back to the bad review, though, it turns out that the guy had received a faulty stylus. Seems like you’re quite happy with yours, huh?
I am yes, I use it everyday, several hours a day. But I also see a lot of bad reviews. I’m wondering if it’s because of faulty styluses, or maybe because it works better depending on the app, of other reasons.
Stay tuned, I will probably do another video to show how it performs in different apps! And thanks for watching. 😉
Hi! Let me bother you one last time to tell you I made a new video. Some people were asking to actually see me write text with the Script, so, there it is. Thank you for your time.
