Do you have a certain curriculum that you're building upon? I find that that's one of the key things... Lifechurch.tv has some free video-based curriculums that people can use.

HEllo,
We are a church that has been around for a while but we are getting a lot of younger kids! So i want to find a way to make sure are kids are growing and learning as much as possible i was a pk and it was hard sometimes to be at church so much i want to make sure i am doing as much as i can for the next generation! also having as much fun as they can! I am at odds with worship, keep them in or have a kids worship! And finding people to help who will show up and be reliable if any one has any thing to help i would be so blessed!

Hello,

I think this is a really good article on protecting children at church but there's other software out there that provide child check in features. www.rdsadvantage.com has
check in features as well and we'd really like you to check out our software and tell us what you think. Thank you for considering us.

Just as another update: Our program is actually more similar to a vacation bible school program than a typical sabbath/sunday school program. It's much more interactive, there are prizes for kids that bring guests, music, and yes, there's a teaching element as well. Hope that helps to clarify!

You're right, Nathan. That's an accurate understanding. You could say we "essentially" moved our earlier Sabbath school programs to the 11am hour. And what you raise up is the main issue we've been having. This Saturday will be our fourth week doing it and we're trying to figure out a good process for kids that end up coming earlier. I think they've had some Bible videos for the kids that come earlier. What would you recommend? How do you think this issue could be solved? That's what I'm not sure about.
