Go Big on Easter
Thom Rainer, in his book Surprising Insights From the Unchurched says that one out of four unchurched people will actually attend church if invited. Furthermore, we know many people are CEO churchgoers, that is “Christmas and Easter Only.”
We are now about five weeks away from easter. So what are you waiting for? This coming easter, there will be people all over your community that, if invited to church, will actually attend with you. Some go to church even less, As one person put it, we "hatch them, match them, and dispatch them." That's even less than Easter and Christmas. I find people are surprisingly open to discuss spirituality if we are willing to listen to them. The key is finding a way to enter their thinking and leading them to think outside of their own worldview in a way that is alluring and makes sense to them.
